Lacey is one sweet girl. It is obvious when you meet her that someone has loved her and been her friend and comrade. Lacey is a golden retriever mix. We believe she may have some cocker spaniel in her. She is approximately 3 years old. Lacey has not had a good life. She has moved around from one home to another for several reasons that had nothing to do with her. She was originally adopted from ARF and lived in a very happy home for about 7 months. Her family had to move and couldnt take her with them so she was returned to ARF. She was devastated to be given up and is now a little unsure of new people and for some reason does not like children. Lacey also likes to be the Alpha dog so we feel that she would thrive in an environment where she is the only dog. She also has a lot of curiosity about cats! She barks and barks at them! We are not sure if she would hurt one but it seems it would be best if your home does not have cats. Lacey craves your attention and you know what, she deserves it! She is so loving and sweet and at her young age loves to play ball in fact, carries a tennis ball with her everywhere. She loves to have you throw to ball to her over and over!! She is kennel-trained, housebroken, uses a doggie-door has been spayed, micro chipped and up to date on all shots. She wants nothing more than to please you! She is much too precious to not be adopted. Lacey does great riding in the car and walking on a leash. Shes a delight to be around you just cant have a bad day with Lacey around!! Given the right home, she will be the most wonderful companion you could have ever dreamed for. Shes had it rough lately and wants nothing more than to be in her forever home.
